Berlin, 1933: Anna (Riva Krymalowski) is only nine years old when her life changes completely: In order to escape the Nazis, her father (Oliver Masucci) has to flee to Zurich; his family follows him a short time later. Anna leaves everything behind, including her beloved pink cloth rabbit, and has to face a new life full of challenges and privations in a foreign country.
