AMEN SALEIKUM
In Pastor Martin's church, only a small group of believers comes together, while the backyard mosque only a few steps away is becoming more and more popular. When the devastating news that the bishop wants to close the church for some renovations arrives, with the help of the church administrator Wölfli, Pastor Martin defends himself. He becomes a fighter against his will. In fact, he has already resigned when there were fewer and fewer believers attending the services. His idealism slowly fell away. But the conflict with the mosque is waking him up. The story is a turbulent culture clash comedy, in which conflict and reconciliation are of course inevitable, but tolerance and understanding are not easy to come by. Each of the participants has to leave their comfort zone - sometimes in a very bizarre way.
