Spring 1945:

The Peace in Europe presents three young people with great challenges. The daughter of a factory owner, Klara, looks after young concentration camp survivors in a refugee home.

Her husband Johann wants to avert the ruin of the family business.

And his brother Egon hunts Nazis hiding in Switzerland.
