MONTE VERITÀ

"Monte Verità", the new Swiss film by Stefan Jäger, tells the story of Hanna Leitner and her escape from the Viennese bourgeoisie. She finds refuge in the free cooperative on the "Mountain of Truth" near Ascona, where she searches for her personal truth. The costume film offers a piece of Swiss local history and an insight into life in the commune in 1906.
