DER TATORT - AUSGEZÄHLT
A boxer dies of a heart attack in the ring. Her opponent Martina Oberholzer then decides to stop doping immediately. As a kind of "life insurance", she collects information in a booklet, including the addresses of those involved. To force her to continue boxing and doping for financial reasons, her manager, Sven Brügger, locks her in a cellar. Shortly afterwards, however, Brügger of all people is shot, apparently by the criminal investigation officer Heinz Oberholzer, the kidnapped boxer's godfather.
At the scene of the crime, investigators Flückiger and Ritschard find a laptop which has a video link to the captured boxer. She could die of thirst in the cellar, her whereabouts are unknown and so the investigators start a race against time.
