A car accident suddenly tears the bright 21-year-old Elodie (Annina Euling) out of her everyday life. At the hospital, she is diagnosed as paralysed from the upper lumbar vertebrae downwards - a stroke of fate that Elodie and her family are initially unable to cope with. But it is the worn-out, somewhat rough sports coach Isabelle (Susanne-Marie Wrage), of all people, who helps Elodie to prove herself in wheelchair sports and to regain courage to face life. A drama that encourages and narrates a story of friendship, fighting spirit and the true victories in life in a touching way.
